How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!
Romans 10:10-18 New International Version (NIV)
10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved. 11 As Scripture says, “Anyone who believes in him will never be put to shame.” 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile—the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” 14 How, then, can they call on the one they have not believed in? And how can they believe in the one of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone preaching to them? 15 And how can anyone preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
We have had a wonderful week with the team visiting from Ohio and ministering to our students. Many students have made a commitment to serve Christ this week and others have recommitted their lives to God. This is one of the greatest reasons for our existence as a Christian school.
One of most wonderful aspects of knowing God is seeing Him work in the lives of those around us. In the short time that we have been here we have seen so many practical examples of the love of Christ being demonstrated by QCS staff, faculty and families. Sometimes when things happen that are beyond our control we may ask why this has happened or how are we going to get through the situation. The Bible clearly states that God is with us and will never leave us or forsake us. Looking around me I see this in action as I see Christ being portrayed by the wonderful people I meet and work with.
May your life also be filled with God’s presence and may you too be surrounded by people who share God’s love with you.
Have a wonderful weekend,
